About Robert

1977 , what a year!! ‘ Star Wars’, and ‘A Star is Born’, hits the cinemas. The very first Apple II Computers reach the public. The Eagle's “Hotel California” was heard on almost every corner and the day after Elvis Presley’s star slowly fades into Legend and ….Robert Alla lands onto this planet we call earth.

Were we ready for him?…no one can be sure.
At the age of two he was swooped away from W.A to land in Italy where he proceeded to become a world-class procrastinator. But by some unknown miracle he found himself with a camera.

What was he to do with such an instrument ?…People are still asking the same question.
He clicked away for some time and by an even greater miracle he found he was enjoying himself and even better, he wasn’t too shabby at it. After much clicking in Italy, he thought it was time do to some clicking elsewhere so he took his eyes to good ol’ London where he truly honed in on his skills in procrastination. Finding himself in more pubs than studios…he gave himself a good slap and dragged himself back to Italy. In Italy he decided he better get his patriotic duties out of the way.

But he didn’t just bide his time in the military, he chose instead to jump out of planes as a paratrooper for the better part of 99’. The year 2000 rolls in so what does he do? He says his goodbyes, packs his bags, and heads for home….down under!

A new millennium, new people, new life, new scenery! And as far as he was concerned…a new Robert Alla. He rediscovered his camera and his passion for photography. After putting in considerable time and effort, he worked his way up. People seemed to like what they saw and before he knew it he found himself as partner in a studio and a true professional in his own right. No one is more surprised by this than HIMSELF.
Is he any good? He would prefer you to be the judge of that!! Though he has won a few awards.
